Tell the Governor to protect the will of the people

In November 2010, Missouri voters approved the Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act, a citizens’ initiative to protect puppy mill dogs from cruel and inhumane conditions. Unfortunately, lawmakers have filed legislation to repeal or amend the initiative (Proposition B) and thwart the voters’ will. If this act by the legislature isn’t stopped not only will the cruel and inhumane treatment of puppy mill dogs continue, but the voice of nearly a million Missouri voters will have been silenced.

Contact Governor Jay Nixon and ask him to protect the will of the people and intervene to uphold Proposition B.
